Parameterizable Flasher Module for commercial and special vehicles
In consideration of different types of lights, changing on-board voltages and extreme temperatures, the search for the right flasher unit can quickly become a test of patience. The ISO-Pulse Flasher Module provides a remedy here : flexible in use, reliable in operation and ideal for vehicles with changing trailers or variable lighting equipment. miunske® offers you the right flasher module and supports the safe operation of incandescent lamps and ISO-LED lights in any combination. Special feature: Customers can parameterize the Iso-Pulse Flasher Module themselves.
Configuration of flasher modules with the OneWire Interface
miunske® provides vehicle manufacturers and developers a simple and secure configuration option. Using the OneWire interface and the free miunske-toolchain, it is easy to adapt the flasher unit module to the existing vehicle requirements. This allows to use the same flasher unit in many vehicle types. An immense advantage, as ordering and storage costs are minimized. When developing the ISO-Pulse Flasher Unit, particular attention was paid to offering customers maximum flexibility in the use of such a module. Special customer requirements can be easily implemented thanks to the parameterization option. The module supports standardization, which is particularly advantageous for vehicle manufacturers with a large product range.
Parameterization options - easy handling while configuring the flasher module
There are two different ways for customers to get their customized flasher unit module:
1)via autonomous parameterization or
2)via service from miunske
1) Autonomous parameterization via OneWire Interface
miunske customers stock up on neutral ISO pulse flasher units with corresponding hardware.
The flasher unit module has to connected to the PC via the OneWire adapter.
Then, using the miunske-toolchain, the vehicle-specific parameters can be selected and transferred to the flasher unit.

2) Data transfer and plug & play delivery
Customers who would like to use the miunske service have the option to transmit the following function parameters:
-number of indicators on each side of the vehicle
-number of trailers
-assignment of the control outputs with C, C2, C3
-write protection required: yes / no
After ordering, the generated set of parameters will be assigned a unique article number and parameterized to the ISO-Pulse Flasher Module.
The number of control outputs determines the hardware variant
The flasher unit offers maximum reliability and operational safety as standard. Depending on the requirements profile and degree of flexibility, customers have the choice between 1, 2 or 3 control outputs, which simplify fault diagnosis.

Suitable for all light source combinations (LED & incandescent lamps ISO pulse-capable)
The functional principle of the ISO-Pulse Flasher Modul makes it possible. The flasher unit detects the specified energy requirement in a pulse phase at a predefined time. This pulse is similar in performance to that of an incandescent lamp, so that the flasher unit does not recognize any difference between an incandescent lamp and an LED that complies with the ISO 13207 standard.
Multi-voltage: use in 12V and 24V electrical systems
The miunske ISO-Pulse Flasher Module is universally applicable in different on-board power supply systems. Thanks to its voltage tolerance, it can be used for different vehicle platforms.
No teach-in process required
The logic makes the difference. By tapping the current energy requirements in a pulse phase, the Iso-Pulse Flasher Module reliably recognizes its ambient parameters and does not require additional teach-in. This makes it much easier to use-plug & play
Longevity through semiconductor technology
The ISO-Pulse Flasher Module is implemented using wear-free semiconductor technology. This ensures maximum operational reliability and a long lifetime even at high switching frequencies and vibrations.
Short-circuit resistance thanks to automatic overload detection
The ISO-Pulse Flasher Module detects overload and short-circuit conditions. This increases safety and reduces downtimes.
Minimum size
Installation space is a precious commodity. With a size of 30mm x 30mm x 30mm, the ISO-Pulse Flasher Module is very compact and therefore contributes to space efficiency without compromising on functionality.
Quick and easy installation in the vehicle system
ISO-Pulse Flasher Module fit directly onto standard mini-relay sockets with standardized pin assignment (in accordance with ISO 7588-2). This makes installation less time-consuming.
