2020

FULLY AUTOMATIC PCB PRODUCTION

August 2019 - miunske® invests in a modern SMT production line. With the implementation of the fully automatic circuit board production, in addition to the already existing THT assembly, miunske® is taking a big step towards the future. The system makes it possible to produce printed circuit boards for commercial vehicles in a much more compact, individual and also small series with an excellent price-performance ratio.

FOUNDING OF MIUNSKE SOLUTION GMBH

miunske® bundles its development expertise and thus effectively drives product innovations for future topics, such as the electrification of the drive train. The range of services offered by miunske solution GmbH includes hardware and software development for electronic components, construction/prototyping as well as project management and support.

2017

CHANGE OF NAME TO MIUNSKE GMBH WITH NEW BRAND APPEARANCE.

Miunske has developed strongly. With this in mind, the appearance of the already established miunske brand was adjusted, thus creating space for future growth. miunske's vision "There is miunske in every commercial vehicle and in every working machine." is the common goal that will be in focus in the coming years. With the brand promise: "We offer manufacturers of commercial vehicles and machines electronic system solutions from a single source. Ready to install. At the place of use. At the time of use. To the point.", miunske GmbH will continue to be a competent and reliable partner when it comes to commercial vehicle electronics.

2016

MIUNSKE CELEBRATES ITS 20TH ANNIVERSARY

20 years, filled with challenges and successes and the firm belief in the success of his ideas. A reason to honor the life's work of Johannes J. Miunske. The miunske team thanked customers, suppliers, business partners, companions and friends for the time together and celebrated in the festively decorated Krone Hall in Bautzen. With the departure of Johannes J. Miunske at the end of the year, Katrin M. Miunske will lead the family business as managing director alongside Jana Kirstein and the husbands René Miunske and Stephan M. Kirstein.

2015

MODERNIZATION MEASURES TO IMPROVE RESOURCES IN THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING

Customer advice is still the focus at miunske. The "technical sales" department moves into a modern open-plan office. In addition to a meeting area for daily informational discussions, there is now also space for future growth and thus a plus in consulting services. Miunske is one of the top 5 companies in the "Saxony Entrepreneur of the Year" competition.

2014

INAUGURATION OF THE TREFFPUNKT M TRAINING AND SOCIAL BUILDING

Even after the generation change, the company continues to grow and a social building is opened for all employees to come together, learn and celebrate. Not least for this reason, but also because of the wide range of offers for reconciling work and family life, the company is honored with the "Family-friendly employer" seal of quality. Other awards include the Oberlausitzer Unternehmerpreis and the winner of the "Comeback of the Year", an initiative to win back skilled workers who have emigrated from Saxony.

AWARDED THE GERMAN MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESS PRIZE OF THE OSCAR-PATZELT FOUNDATION

The company and thus the work of Johannes J. Miunske is honored in front of all German SMEs with the award "Winner of the German SME Award". He himself is looking ahead and already has company succession in mind. In the same year he hands over the company to his two daughters Katrin M. Miunske and Jana Kirstein.

2011

GROUND-BREAKING BREAK FOR THE NEW BUILDING FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE MANUFACTURING AND LOGISTICS CENTER

In addition to its broad product portfolio, Miunske is a sought-after logistics partner. The storage and thus short delivery times of products is appreciated by the customers and gladly taken advantage of. Due to the constant growth, an expansion of the production and logistics center is planned, which will be equipped with an environmentally friendly photovoltaic system. This system covers the entire energy needs of the company and makes its contribution to protecting and preserving the environment.

2008

START OF DEVELOPMENT IN THE AREA OF CAN – COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

As an established specialist for vehicle electrics/electronics, the idea of ​​offering our own products in the field of CAN communication technology was obvious. At the Automechanika 2008 trade fair, miunske presented its "cockpit system" for the first time, which promoted networking in commercial vehicles using small pluggable modules and CAN switching and display units.

2007

CONSTRUCTION OF A MANUFACTURING AND LOGISTICS CENTER

6 years after the move to Großpostwitz, the storage capacities were also exhausted here, but the Miunske family had already provided for expansion options. A production and logistics center was set up directly opposite the first company building, which offered even more effective warehousing and new production options.

2006

EXPANSION OF THE ELECTRONICS LAB AND ESTABLISHMENT OF ADDITIONAL TEST STATIONS IN PRODUCTION

In addition to the development of electrical assemblies, the demand for electronic components increased due to the increasing automation of commercial vehicles and work machines. Products such as the multi-channel flasher, which arose due to the increased use of LED technology and enabled mixed operation with conventional lighting technology, made new demands on measurement and testing technology.

2004

FIRST EXHIBITION AT THE BAUMA IN MUNICH

So far, Johannes Miunske has also acquired his customers at the trade fairs relevant to his company: BAUMA, IAA – Commercial Vehicles, Automechanika and Agritechnica. Now the time had come for our own booth. The first appearance at the BAUMA 2004 was something very special and soon noticeably expanded the company's customer base.

2002

BEGINNING OF ASSEMBLY PRODUCTION ACCORDING TO INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS

As a solution provider, miunske now increasingly develops and manufactures assemblies according to customer requirements, such as energy distributors or driver presence monitors, in addition to the broad product portfolio. This required more space. To expand the production area, an adjacent plot of land with a production hall was purchased.

2001

RELOCATION OF THE COMPANY HEADQUARTERS TO THE CURRENT LOCATION IN GROSSPOSTWITZ

Despite the expansion of the garage with an upper floor and roof, there was soon not enough space and Johannes Miunske found a new company domicile in Großpostwitz with future-oriented expansion options. After thorough conversion and modernization measures, he and 7 employees moved into the much larger building. On the one hand, there were better storage facilities here to accommodate the constantly growing range, but on the other hand, there were also offices for new employees to look after the growing customer base.

2000

MIUNSKE RECEIVES THE TRADEMARK RIGHTS AND BEGINS THE DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS

As a tinkerer and inventor of ideas, Johannes Miunske pushed ahead with his own product development. His motto "Different from all others and better" has repeatedly resulted in his product developments having unique selling points. For this reason, he applied early for trademark protection under the then FTM brand, which stood for Fahrzeugtechnik Miunske.

1996

COMPANY FOUNDED BY JOHANNES J. MIUNSKE IN PRIVATE GARAGE

Johannes Miunske always dreamed of having his own company. As an electronics engineer, he was responsible for the electrical concept of the E524 combine harvester at the Singwitz combine harvester plant in the 1980s. Even then, he was told that he was ahead of his time. With the reunification, he took the opportunity to become self-employed and founded his company for trading in vehicle electrical items and the processing of these items. The business grew and the entrepreneurial couple Miunske put everything on one card, with Monika Miunske giving up her position as office manager of a law firm in order to now support her husband with all her strength.

Johannes Miunske always dreamed of his own company. As electronics engineer he was responsible for the electronical draft of the combine harvester E524 of the company ‘MDW Singwitz’ in the 1980s. Already at this time, they told him that his ideas were ahead of the times.

After the political change in 1989 he took his chance and started his own company. The core competences of his company were in the trade with articles of vehicle electrics and the processing of those parts. The company grew and the Miunske couple put all their eggs into one basket. Monika Miunske gave up her job as office head of a law office to support her husband with all her strength.
