With the help of state-of-the-art 3D printing technology, we can produce important components for prototypes and pilot series quickly, cost-effectively and in precise industrial quality – from plastic. Our customers benefit from greatly reduced development and production times.
Technical equipment:
3D-Printer „Bambu Lab H2D Pro“
- Maximum print dimensions for single-nozzle printing: 325 mm x 320 mm x 325 mm
- Print dimensions for dual-nozzle printing: max. 300 mm x 320 mm x 320 mm
- High print quality thanks to active chamber heating/cooling
- Open filament system and compatibility with a wide variety of materials thanks to 1.75 mm filament diameter
Advantages
All the benefits of 3D printing technology at a glance
3D-printing
FAST AND LOW COST PRODUCTION
From functional parts for prototype construction, pilot series and small series - without the expense of prior tool production - and from a quantity of 1.
RISK MINIMIZATION THROUGH SIMPLIFIED PRODUCT TESTING
New components can be implemented quickly and inexpensively with little effort. This allows product developers to test more and optimize the product until it is really ready for series production. This reduces the risk of faulty production.
MORE DESIGN FREEDOM
3D printing technology also enables the production of complex geometries and offers product designers more design freedom.
FREELY SELECTABLE SCALING
The objects are freely scalable. This enables easy production of product samples to examine shape and design.
SAVING RESOURCES
Significantly less "waste" is generated with 3D printing than with conventional production processes. Material leftovers can be reused.
Examples of use
Production of a compensating element for press-fit technology
IIf the series is too small for a complex tool production or if a conventional production with tool production via a CNC production partner takes too long, the production of an urgently needed component with the 3D printer is a real alternative. As in this case: For a small series with press-fit components, compensating elements were needed at short notice. Using 3D printing, the plastic components were produced in just 5 hours.
The benefits: 4 weeks less time needed and 80% lower costs compared to conventional production with toolmaking using a CNC production partner.
