As a medium-sized company with regional roots, miunske® is particularly committed to future generations. In addition to apprenticeships and study programmes offered by the company, the company is always a partner for projects that introduce the company’s activities to younger age groups. In this way, miunske offered children from the ‘Purzelbaum’ daycare centre in Bautzen the opportunity to get to know the diverse spectrum of work areas in various departments. A kind of precursor development, if you like.

As part of the nationwide daycare centre competition ‘Small hands, big future’, our employees welcomed potential specialists of tomorrow.

In addition to insights into our production, which answered questions about electric commercial vehicle components and their manufacturing, the children were also able to take a look at the storage area and the logistics area with the various packaging lines in the goods despatch department.

With lots of fun, simple explanations, even for complex topics, practical demonstrations and hands-on opportunities, the children were not only given an insight into the work of miunske, they also gained a vivid impression of the range of tasks in different professions, such as logistician and production technician. With the new insights and impressions from the company tour in their luggage, the children will design a poster that will be submitted to the nationwide daycare centre competition. miunske® is keeping its fingers crossed for the ‘Purzelbaum’ daycare centre that the competition will be a success for them and is looking forward to future visits from the little ones with the big questions.
